Amazing Super Foods That Strengthen Your Immune System

Our bodies are made to defend against all sickness and disease from the common cold to cancer. We can strengthen and make our immune systems more powerful by eating immune building foods.

The immune system is filled with protective cells called white blood cells. There are many and all work to kill bacteria, pathogens, eat harmful cells, and neutralize toxins including metabolic waste. Some even make antibodies.

Our bodies must constantly regenerate and build new white blood cells, especially when harmful toxins enter.

If we want to truly defend ourselves, there are nutrients from foods that you certainly don't want to miss out on. By eating a diet to build the immune system, you will keep your body ready to defend itself anytime the "bad guys" come to visit.

For starters, it is a good idea to know that white, refined sugar has an adverse effect on the immune system - it can literally stop it from working.

Junk and processed foods also work against your immune system since they have no natural nutrients that your body needs to build white blood cells when they are needed. In addition, they are full of the harmful toxins that your immune system will have to battle leaving less to fight outside invaders such as bacteria and virus.

Here are the super foods
that help strengthen and build your immune system. Adding these foods to your diet while limiting junk and processed foods can keep you healthier for the coming flu season.

Fresh Whole Vegetables are full of phytonutrients that your body uses to keep your immune system strong. These phytonutrients stimulate the release of enzymes within our bodies to protect cells and rebuild damaged cells.

They also fight cancer. Our bodies come into contact with carcinogens (cancer-causing agents) every day. We also constantly make cells, and some rogue cells may reproduce themselves leading to damage or cancer of an organ.

In many cases our bodies' recognize and attack these out-of-control cells. Phytonutrients help our bodies do this and can also shut down pre-cancerous cells and neutralize carcinogens. No vitamin pill can give you this power!

The best veggies for an immune building diet include; carrots, sweet potatoes, asparagus, kale, red and green peppers, broccoli and the dark leafy greens such as turnip greens, collard greens, spinach and romaine lettuce.

Fresh Whole Fruits are also full of phytonutrients. They are immune building and natural detoxifiers of the body. Fruits are full of antioxidants and enzymes that protect our cells from damage.

Many of the berries and red apples are high in flavonoids that protect us from heart disease.

Fruits that will help strengthen your immune system include; pink and red grapefruit, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, red apples, red grapes, bananas, cranberries, tomatoes, mangoes, tangerines, nectarines, peaches, oranges and watermelon.

Omega 3's are healthy fats that have an immune building quality. They are anti-inflammatory and help prevent auto-immune disorders. They are needed in order for the body to absorb certain vitamins.

Foods that contain the Omega 3's include; ground flax seeds, walnuts, soybeans, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, hazelnuts, cashews, almonds, salmon, mackerel, and herring.

Good Bacteria found in the intestinal lining keep your immune system healthy. These healthy organisms stimulate the immune system, increase antibodies, and inhibit the absorption of pathogenic organisms such as e.coli and salmonella.

Be sure that you and your children consume healthy, live bacteria especially at times of illness. Foods containing good bacteria are; yogurt (be sure to check the label for live bacteria), and fermented foods such as kifir, miso and homemade sauerkraut.

Folate is essential for preventing damage to blood vessels
and brain cells and ensures DNA integrity. The dark leafy greens are high in folate and include the following; mustard, collard and turnip greens, spinach, kale and romaine lettuce.

Use these immune building foods and Use Organic Foods

ps: I also use Spirulina, MMS, and sometimes H2O2.

Hmm, I just had thought... If you cut a berry, even an Apple in half most are heart shaped. Hmmm...

Thank you, much of this info is very new to me but thank God I try to eat as naturally as I can, although the temptations are very powerful indeed I avoid msg, gmo or aspartame & other chemicals that get passed off as food and "naturally" wish only to put fresh organic produce into my system (non-flouridated watered hopefully!) which reminds me that literally billions have gone into bringing people clean water but never have I heard of any water companies actually wishing to improve its quality, they even make excuses and say it is too expensive... This is quite frankly rubbish as we know, so we look forward to the purest water ever;-) And by the way... WATER METERS SHOULD BE BANNED! It is impossible to run out of water its just the fact that they cannot be bothered to spend the billions profit on de-salting/toxifying it. This will go down in history as a historical idiocracy, it is not a sign of elite intelligence, it is the sign of a less than primitive beings that have been corrupted by power & greed.

Excuse my rant, lol - All will be put right very soon;-)

Vege-Table, I love to eat direct from the plants, it is understood that this way the full Chi & memory is absorbed, this not only gives us instructions on how to improve a crop via genetic/ionic feedback but also aligns us with the seasons again, thus connecting us with part of our truest Earthly Nature. Along with this it can also bring a peace of mind which is second to none simply because we no longer have to totally rely on shops for Veg' so we're planning to become self sufficient & hopefully with like minded people to build a most glorius & abundant future and this we look forward to very much.

Many thanks again, I look forward to Perfect Health with you all... Peace, Abundance & Longevity be with you. Namaste.

Hi One,
You are so very lucky to be able to do that. The ground and soil where I live will not grow much of anything unless it's a very hardy and hard to kill flower. I have tried everything to no avail to enrich the soil but nothing worked. The cost of having it all dug up and new put down, then nutrients added and all of that a total failure. It was done not once but twice and then we gave up on it and just put decking there.
The cost of organic food at the market is rediculous and I don't believe it's organic as claimed.
Hence the suppements used in lieu of not having an organic garden have to suffice.
We are hoping to move out of this state at some point as the now chaotic energies here no longer support me and I am finished with holding the space here. That is also wreaking havoc with me. Looking for a space where we can grow things and not freeze in winter, and with more supportive energies.
Peace and Abundance to you and All-Ways Love in ONEness

We are very fortunate, but then I plant food on so called council property outside of my own garden because it is really quite small. The thing is, the illusion of land ownership has never effected me & therefore I still have my God given rights to feed my family the best of the best.

I sense you have the same doubts as I do about the trustability of even the veg' on our shop shelves & quite rightly so but giving thanks for the blessings of food really does help to restructure the waters contained within it, such blessings turn stagnant waters into wholesome waters (as many experiments have shown)

I would like to know if you live in more northern climes & whether your infertile patch of land is north facing & nearer the back of a wall that is also north facing, I know you have decking now but i'm just curious.

May all of your wishes manifest in abundance in the very near future:-)

Hi once again One,
Yes more northern with harsh and cold winters but hot and humid summers.
Tho very rainy here this summer, more than usual.
I have lots of sun for most of the day, and my lower deck I call the cabana.
That where my floating pool is too. LOL
Let me see..no, it faces more east as that is where the sun comes up and I have it for most of the day until about five when it is heading west as it's going down. Keeps the pool nice for me too. I have hosta in front of a small garden seperated by a six foot high privacy fence. They do very well there but nothing else does. On the other side facing the decks is a small garden with Moonflowers, Butterfly Bush, and some hosta. All doing very well. The rest of the flowers which are impatients are in containers spread about. Oh, and my basil in a container, is also is doing very well.
I also have Rose of Sharon which are all thriving and Morning Glories climibing an open fence that keeps the two dogs inside and safe. A few years I did tomatoes in a container but stopped that. Even being fenced in something was getting at them.
I do have organite in one garden under the Butterfly Bush but it's enough energy for both sides of the fence. LOL. Not many Monarchs as usual either this year.
But happy to say the bee's are comming back. They spray alot overhead with the chemtrails on a regular basis too and have gotten ill twice this summer already.
Another reason to get out of Dodge. Living so close to NYC has it's many hazards in more ways than one.
I thank you for your kind blessing as I manifest away here. LOL
Peace and Joy to you in ONEness

Hmmm, I have been scratching my head for a while now, and still continue to but I have a few ideas to put to the test if you wish, your decking has been considered;-)

Here in the UK I have found Tomatoes/Cucumbers grow better protected in a greenhouse as it simply gives a longer growing season with better pest protection from bugs (for want of a better word, lol) As a main tip, things like butterfly trees (Budleah?) are perfect for mulching the bed almost all year round, simply chop it into smaller bits & spread it around the base of the shrubs & never take anything like organic matter away from your garden or it will become more & more depleted of goodness & break the natural cycle that should occur below the plants.
Mulching the bed will also promote Water (Love) retention protect the Earth from the baking summer Sun.
I would also recommend some weeds be left as they also protect the Earth from the Sun, as long as it is well weeded around smaller plants all should be well. In some cases the only reason bugs attack our crops is a severe lack of any other greenery to eat in the area.
A conservatory (south facing) would be an amazing Eden Project filled with plenty of fresh Air, you could also protect citrus fruits in winter with perfect light. Citrus plants would make an amazing addition to your decking when temp's reach above 15 degrees "C" outside;-) They are acid lovers & really don't ming being kept in a large pot in a sheltered spot, they should produce bumper crops in your climate. Fallen leaves can add to mulch under shrubs too.

No south/east facing fence in Eden is complete without the Grape, very hardy to whatever Nature throws at it, the humble grape just gets bigger & better and more abundant every year they can trail along a fence & over arches to give a Positively Ionic & Healing energy field, completely energizing & amplifying your organite to the MAX;-) Leaves make an abundant Holy mulch indeed;-)

To ensure success for Grapes it is advisable to dig a Holy hole (lol) at least 1ft squared & fill it with fresh potting compost, add your plant then water well, making sure to cover any exposed roots with more compost.

Passion fruits can be done in the same way as grapes but grow as fast as the water & food you give them;-) Amazing mulch plant.

Bug control tip: I have found greenfly are attracted to Hops, this in turn attracts the Ladybird and they help to keep balance in the rest of the garden, hops also are amazing for mulching... Wow, I need a new section for this topic alone, lol.

May abundance shower upon your garden.... In Oneness.

Very good ideas One, and I thank you. Too late in the season to plant anymore but I wlll try this next year. Grape leaves are awesome and I use them in Middle Eastern food for stuffed grape leaves. Already have the butterfly bush so that's a start. The climate here will not support a winter garden like Suncathcer. Once it's done, it's done until next Spring. I saw a video on YouTube on how to build a cheap and effective hot house.
Thanks for all the advice and head scratching..LOL
Looking forward to digging some Holy Holes also.

Sunflowers grow well in our area (northeast Texas). Not only nutritious, sunflowers attract the ladybugs which eat the menace bugs as well as attract bumble bees for pollination. Neem oil, (which has a similar odor to garlic), garlic plants, and marigolds are natural bug control methods as well.

I am looking forward to the winter garden which will be planted in the next few weeks. My favorites including spinach, kale, broccoli, and lots of greens to look forward to, as well as beans, beets, carrots, cauliflower, celery, peas, and potatoes. (I have given up on potatoes from the grocery store. Too often they are too green or too starchy and absent of flavor or simply don't keep very long. A friend told me she leaves the potatoes in the garden as they will keep.. just go dig whenever you want to prepare some for a meal ... I didn't know this but I'm going to try it, hope it works.)

Oh my, gardening is a lot of work and harvesting, canning can take up a lot of time (I do this the easy way, usually just blanching and freezing as opposed to actual canning except for just a few items that I really like (tomato jelly for one). When I, or we, just don't have time for either, we deliver to the neighbors. We can't always plant everything we want but often a neighbor brings us what we didn't plant so all works out fine. It does get very hot here and incredibly humid. Early Spring is okay and any work can be done any time of the day but as the temperatures rises all needs to be done early in the morning. It's much easier managing the winter crops. Regardless, homegrown insofar as nutrition and taste, is priceless.

Best of Health to All!
